To ensure reliable client service in all circumstances, we operate a second secure Lights Out facility, just outside of Ottawa. Should our main office become inaccessible, the office is equipped with servers that mirror operations at our main office, as well as numerous workstations, a powerful generator, satellite phone, telephone systems, central fax, and a secure VPN to our Merivale Road LAN.
Our LO facility came in very handy during the August 2003 northeastern blackout: our Carp Road office was open for business and processed urgent files and translations for the federal and municipal governments without interruption.
