Masha Krupp, President & CEO

Growing up in a Russian-speaking family, Masha went on to learn seven languages, all of which she is able to translate. Today, Masha is an accomplished and award-winning entrepreneur, a leading Canadian businesswoman and a prominent philanthropist. Since founding The Masha Krupp Translation Group Ltd. in 1992 with nothing more than a couple of employees and a big idea, Masha has built the company into the largest Canadian-owned linguistic services firm in the country.

Most people understand that building a successful business requires vision and a relentless work ethic. Masha believes that integrity and compassion are just as important in building and running a healthy and profitable organization! In addition to her admirable business success, Masha never forgets the communities that have helped her to grow. Each year, 10 to 15 percent of MKTG’s operating profits are given to local, national and international charities. Masha’s charitable giving has not gone unnoticed; in 2007 she was named one of the Top 50 People in Ottawa by Ottawa Life Magazine. Most important, Masha’s positive attitude, leadership and drive for the highest possible achievement ensure that MKTG will remain a success — as well as an employer of choice — for many years to come.
