Commitment to excellence brings its rewards
What a ride we're on! Since The Masha Krupp Translation Group incorporated in 1992 with a staff of two, it has grown into a burgeoning enterprise of more than 100 full-time and nearly 50 part-time employees. And it just keeps getting bigger.
In fact, it's now official: we're the largest translation company in Ottawa and among the top five in Canada. Interestingly, our size is incidental; it was never our goal to be the biggest in the translation industry—simply to be the best with respect to both price and quality of work.
Yet here we are settling in to our expanded space. After winning some enormously competitive contracts—including the largest ever awarded in Ottawa to a single translation company—we’ve virtually taken over the 5th floor of the Emerald Plaza on Merivale Road. Meanwhile, my management team and I continue to refine our business model, ensuring all clients receive the highest-quality service in the industry, regardless of how big we get.
Along with our plans to expand operations, we plan to increase our charitable donations. Growing up, I was raised to offer at least 10 percent of my earnings to charity; it's what my parents always did. In 2007 and 2008 MKTG will donate nearly 15 percent of its operating profits to charities in Ottawa, across Canada and around the world.
Our hard-earned success feels terrific. My management team—most of whom have been with me since the early 1990s—and I are looking forward to a period of careful, yet rapid expansion that will offer outstanding opportunities for all our employees.
Our team has never been stronger; our prospects never brighter. I invite you to explore our website and discover why The Masha Krupp Translation Group is arguably the best translation, editing and proofreading company in Canada.
