A responsible corporate citizen

The Masha Krupp Translation Group is proud of its growth and success as Ottawa’s largest translation, editing and proofreading company. We recognize that a good corporate citizen gives back to the community it serves. Every year we donate 10 to 15 percent of our operating profits to needy groups in Ottawa and around the world.

As Masha always says, it’s important to remember that giving can be fun! In June 2007 Masha closed the office for the day and paid for all MKTG employees to participate in the Amethyst Women’s Addiction Centre golf tournament. She also funded the banquet that followed the tournament.

Masha’s success as a businesswoman and philanthropist are becoming a big story in the Ottawa area. Her generosity and commitment to business excellence won her a spot in Ottawa Life Magazine’s Top 50 People of the Capital.

Commitment to the team

Our management team is committed to ensuring MKTG is an employer of choice in the Ottawa area. We compensate our employees with competitive salaries and benefits packages. We celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and employee weddings. Our social committee plans monthly events to help our busy employees relax and unwind. We even have a talented MKTG band that plays at all our corporate social events.

New MKTG band—and free music lessons!

Who knew so many talented musicians were hiding behind their computers? We’ve rooted them out and formed our very own MKTG orchestra. With help from our in house music teacher we’ve pulled together a cello, mandolin, guitar and keyboards. We’re offering all musicians free half-hour weekly lessons. We’ll test our act at a few MKTG functions and then, who knows? Hit the road and get famous!

Celebrating diversity and cultural heritage

MKTG employees are linguists. As you walk through our halls, you hear the languages and accents of Portugal, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Cuba, Somalia, Senegal, Romania, Russia, former Yugoslavia, Belgium, Guatemala, France, St. Lucia, and Lebanon. We learn from each other. Company paid Russian lessons have been available to staff since 2005, and Spanish lessons are now available. What’s more, we regularly celebrate our diversity with culturally themed social events.

With such a wealth of foreign-language talent at our fingertips, it would be a crime not to offer language training to our employees! The Masha Krupp Translation Group is committed to developing company employees to their fullest potential. We offer a series of courses in a host of languages for students of all levels and abilities. MKTG employees participate as both students and as teachers.
